Hello, hope your month is going well!
I am here to introduce a new blog series to my blog. As you see from the title, I am calling it "Style Scrapbook". Think of this as a collection of my monthly outfits and the stories behind them! I want to give off a diary-like feeling of refection in combination with my own personal style.
This blog post highlights my outfits that I wore for the month of September. I really hope you enjoy and get to know a bit more about me.
September 9th: Moscato, Rose and Pizza
As the summer days started to dwindle, I thought I would end the summer by catching up with a good friend. This summer was a very therapeutic summer. My summer was one of self-reflection, self-realization and many other lessons in between. My friend Aysha and I enjoyed some wine, Moscato preferably, some really good honey and ricotta pizza, and some great conversation. The weather was still pretty warm, but I was so excited to break out the fall wardrobe!
It was kind of chilly, so I resorted to this Abercrombie & Fitch Flannel Sherpa Jacket that I thrifted off of Thread Up.
The perfect jacket to wear for the first fall weekend that plummeted under 60°F. I styled this outfit with a neutral base: black short-sleeve bodysuit, black jeans, and my white Air Force 1's. Perfect for a lowkey weekend brunch. I would definitely go back for the pizza!
September 10th: Here We Go Brownies
The official home opener for the Cleveland Browns! I had so much fun with my friends celebrating in downtown. It felt like downtown had turned into a college campus during tailgating. Good news is that we won this game! Bad news is that it rained 90% of the time we were out there.
Had to bring out my handy-dandy chunky, white rain boots from ASOS and my Cleveland Browns hoodie that I got from a pop-up vintage market.
My trusted accessory for the day was my black, Nike fanny pack. I finished the outfit with some black jeans. I will still root for my home team in every sport regardless of how their season is going... Cleveland motto: there's always next year!
September 22nd: Latin Appreciation Awards
This was a very rushed outfit that I wore to my fiancé's Latin Appreciation Awards ceremony. I was so incredibly proud of him getting recognized by his department and representing excellence within the Latin community. He was super nervous and had a slight case of imposter syndrome.
With me being in a rush, I could not find a good pair of black heels or sandals that were "rain appropriate". I resorted to my trusty white Nike Air Force 1's.
I love this black, long-sleeve, bodysuit with gold hardware. I kept my jewelry consistent with the gold hardware on my top. I kept things simple and monochromatic and matched it with my black leather pants. This was not an outfit that I was not 100% proud of the final product, but at the end of the day it's the memories that make the pictures matter.
Thank you for taking the time to check out this post! Let me know what you guys think on all of my social media platforms!
Xoxo, Camille
